PostCurrent Build Log 8/11/2025

Chipping away at small, but important To-Dos
1. Redirected Wordara.com ➜ PostCurrent.com
I finally knocked out the full domain redirect. All traffic to Wordara.com now lands cleanly on PostCurrent.com. Simple change, but still important.
2. Restored the Missing “Add Link” Button
Somewhere along the way, the editor lost its Insert Link feature. I’m still not sure whether I removed it accidentally or overlooked it when switching editors. I had planned on making the switch to PostCurrent with my latest post but I had to jump over to Substack just to finish the thought because I couldn’t add links. Anyway, the button is back.
3. Fixed the “Undo Eats Your Draft” Bug
The scariest issue: pressing Undo sometimes resurrected an old AI suggestion, got stuck in a half-state, and reverted everything written since the previous saved revision. Way below MVP quality in my book. This one had to get done today. An MVP can be basic, but it can’t be destructive. Now undo behaves normally. I also made the autosave more aggressive so you can revert to checkpoints in case something goes wrong.
Why These Tiny Fixes Matter
- User Trust: If an editor deletes progress, I can’t, in good conscience, onboard anyone. Not even with the caveat that it’s a Beta.
- MVP Bar: Minimal Viable Product means minimal features, not malfunctioning features.
- Momentum: Even small blockers stop users (and me) in their tracks. Clearing them keeps things moving forward.
Ready (Again) for Real Feedback
With the redirects stable, links working, and the editor no longer eating drafts, the MVP feels whole. I’m comfortable inviting fresh testers without fearing I’ll wreck their motivation or their work.
